Ah, if only this had been my ambition when I was young. Who knows where it could have led? I coulda been somebody. I coulda been a contender. But better late than never, I always say.

We in the acorn household love apple pie with brown sugar crumb topping. And my most favorite recipe came from
here. Thank you again, Melissa.
How scrummy!
ReplyDeleteIt is, Val! You should give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI've never been good at pie. That pie you made was delicious! I have everything for shortbread today except an orange peel and citron, I am not really sure what citron is but I am going to go to the store and look for some. I'm sorry I didn't get your call, I lost my phone and found it at midnight.
ReplyDeletefunny lady : )
ReplyDeleteYou look like a contender to me...
Thanks for the recipe...Yum!
ReplyDeletePretty pictures too.
Have a lovely weekend Jodi!
Okay, I have visions of Marlon Brando rolling out pie crust in your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteCould there be any greater felicity than pie, warm from the oven?
Can I drop by for a slice? : )
ReplyDeleteohhhhhhhh. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have a go at this recipe. I like the idea of a crumb topping. I'm still aspiring to be the perfect pie maker. I thought everyone was!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Jodi! I'm so glad you are enjoying it.
