ReplyDeleteWaaahooo. Love the post. And what a cutie at the top! Love the photos. You are so lucky that soon your summer won't just be confined to a jar. xox
ReplyDeleteAmy, the new Jane Eyre. I think it's about time you went to the movies, too.
ReplyDeleteAngelina, I'll show you soon - promise.
Joy, 81 degrees tomorrow. Waaahooo!

i like u. summer in a jar - i will have to try that...it would help me on icy days in february.
ReplyDeleteand yay for babies!
and yay for heat waves in april!
Can I have that as my motto too?
ReplyDeletelove to you... your strength and grace has helped me so so much.
A baby:) Such joy! And, I REALLY want to see Jane Eyre.
ReplyDeleteyou saw the new jane eyre? was it good?
ReplyDeleteand of course i love the quote, and your list, topped by joy's joy, and you.
and your prayer on my blog made me cry. thank you. He is faithful.
Jodi, visiting your place this morning made my spirits soar. Love the alliteration, matinee and summer in a jam jar. Love, love, love the ultra sound pic! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely quote..quite beautiful and apt
ReplyDeleteThank you for a lovely thought to start the week!
I'm attempting to catch up..the kind thought of you sending me chocolate cheered me up no end you know...that was lovely of you..only the struggles to climb into my clothes that have become increasingly tight of late (ho hum embarrassed cough) have prevented me from emailing you. I think I overdid the sweet treats this winter and now I pay....serves me right ..lol
Was Jane Eyre good? Hmm...still deciding. I love the book Jane Eyre, and the BBC version with Ruth Wilson. This Jane Eyre--visually stunning, yet stark. I felt as if I was eating a sandwich that had two pieces of bread but someone forgot the filling. The BBC version might still be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGrandchildren! What a blessing.
ReplyDeleteLove your page of pretty pictures...and alliteration.
Congratulations!!! What a blessing!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your seashore and your summer jar!
Congrats on baby Lake!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I like that you bottled up summer in a jar. I want to bottle up spring... summer is coming all too fast here.
I really want to see the new Jane Eyre but I'm afraid I'll be a little disappointed. Have you seen the Jane Eyre with Charlotte Gainsborough?
What is in your jar? I love that! :) What a gorgeous beach photo. So peaceful!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, got the idea here last year. I love doing it; it helps me get through the stone gray of winter: http://www.designspongeonline.com/2009/08/made-with-love-found-terrariums.html
ReplyDeleteThanks about the beach photo. I took that when I was in NZ.
Emily, thanks about baby Lake! Yes, I have seen the version with Charlotte Gainsborough, and I liked it. I still love the two disk, BBC version with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens. I own that and watch it at least once a year. I love it because it tells as much of the book as possible.
ReplyDeleteI love the thought of giving thanks for children's children...and when I read it I thought it was "in faith" for the future, but now I read comments from more familiar blogger friends and I see it is an "in the flesh" faith made real grandchild!! And I also love summer in a jar...
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Congratulations on a new grandbaby! :o) I love terrariums - I am slowly gathering supplies to make one myself. :o) I like the new motto! Thanks for sharing - this was a great list...
ReplyDeleteI love the post! Congradulations on your upcoming grand child. I love your blog so much. I am thinking of making my own sometime soon. I really want to. I looks like lots of fun! Love, Mary Drennen
ReplyDeleteIt's my new motto too! I would write more, but I'm busy burning. HUGS!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new little one. I love those first photos. Makes it all seem real.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you included a bit of alliteration. I've been trying to explain the difference between rhyming and alliteration to two of my children. Still working on it.
Go on. Unscrew the cap of that jar and let a little leak out.
CONGRATULATIONS on the new grandbaby!!
ReplyDeleteJodi...congratulations on your grandbaby, it seems the Lord has us walking the same path.
ReplyDeleteIn His grace
