  1. We have a local soda bottling company here that makes a pretty sweet black cherry soda as well. I bought a bunch (assorted flavors) to put in goody bags for out-of-town guests for my daughter's wedding. Always love seeing your journal with your art-girl stuff next to it. Happy Monday. And, yes, let's meet this side of heaven.

  8. Good morning, Jodi! So amazing about your new bee keeping adventure! Something I've always been interested in learning more about. And do you keep chickens, too? We were talking around the table last night about keeping chickens if we ever get to make a move to the country. Love your list!

  11. I have been inspired to keep chickens ever since I saw this fancy coop on Heather Bullard's blog. You have to see this!

  12. your photos make me sigh with delight... love that flower mug with the paints... it looks like a scene from beatrix potter. did you ever see the masterpiece theatre they did about her in the 80's? with holly aird as young beatrix? it was wonderful, i've looked for it everywhere and can't find it except as part of a list on the masterpiece page. wish they would replay it... here's the link to the archive page, for what it's worth:

  13. I love seeing the "Grandpa Ott" petunia seeds...I planted those last year, and happily discovered volunteers coming back this year! Eggs and honey and "plein air" art and wooden fences...these are the things dreams are made of!

    Blessings!
(I still am amazed everytime I find something we have in common!)
