  12. Susan, yes it would be chilly in August. It's winter there then. It was nice leaving our February winter for their February summer, but quite a shock to come back.

  13. man. I wish I could have made it to the airport. I mean, look at you with your toe ring! :)
It looks like a ridiculous amount of fun, and I especially love the smushy baby kissing pics.

  14. JoAnn, my daughter-in-law Michelle gave me that toe ring when she got engaged to my son Alex. It matches hers. I haven't taken it off since. Sorry we missed each other at the airport. xx

  20. I want to go there! And I don't even especially like Hobbits! I, too, love the smushy kissing baby pictures. And I'm a huge fan of the toe ring. Toe ring = beach to my way of thinking. And I love few things more than the beach.

    So glad you're home!

The coffee with the beautiful design in the cream

You in front of that cosy looking bookshop

The grey day when the plane lands

The magical looking door leading into greenery that seems like it's so Tolkien or C.S. Lewis

The title "Postcards from the Edge of the World"

The fact that you got to hold Tilly

    So, basically everything :)
