Acorn-girl! Been waiting to see your arts and crafts linked here. I'm all about Isaiah these days and love, love, love barenaked faith. And I love your pastel of the same. Multitudes of hugs.

thank you all for the encouragement. I'm not so happy that the scanner couldn't pick up all the colors, but that's imperfectly okay. :)

I, too, love that last one. "bare-naked faith." Says it all...

I love the second one especially. What beautiful art work Jodi.

I just had my kids work on canvas with oil pastels for the first time today. My son did Spiderman and my daughter did one of her holding a cat beside the tree in our front yard (although hers is not yet done).

you are so good. i used to do a lot of pastel work when i was a kid. i actually have a brand new box that i purchased a long time ago ...just waiting.

and i LOVE trees, and probably Isaiah too but I haven't read much of that yet. I just have so many things to work on! xo

Oh I'm so glad you are not asking us to choose our favourite. They are all so beautiful and calm. Although as a winter baby, I think I'm attracted most to the sharpness of Winter. See, you didn't ask, but I still couldn't resist choosing!

first of all i LOVE that you are sharing your art here. and i LOVE barenaked faith, especially. absolutely gorgeous. but most of all i love how you turned art into a prayer. for me, that is what my relationship with God is. one big messy painting that i know one day, will be a masterpiece, but for now, well, it's unfinished. love to you, dear sister. e.

Your pastels are gorgeous, and that verse from Isaiah...breathtaking. So grateful to have stopped by this morning.
