While writing my comment on your last post I noticed this new one coming in and I gasped!\ The COLOR! and the eye to see it and frame it, Miss Jodi, is remarkable! Thank you for these visual treasures!!!
Thanks, everyone. I was hoping that someone would tell me what the purple ruffly stuff was. It's a volunteer plant and we have no idea what it is or where it came from. But we left it because it looks pretty with the green leaves of the tomatoes and the purple of the eggplant.
Nancy - I AM Mr. McGregor. I have proudly trapped six groundhogs and one raccoon. They did not end up in a pie, however. My Beatrix Potter heart released them into nearby woods.
ahh, your garden is looking much better than Sea Kettle Gardens! I haven't been very good at watering... :( Everything looks so healthy and wonderful, Jodi! Great work.

All your photos are beautiful, but the purple ruffled basil and eggplants -- wow!

You're not fooling anyone--you snuck under the fence and into Mr. McGregor's garden, didn't you?
What a lovely garden! Love all the blues and purples in it--and the veggies!
