Back to work

“It was November--the month of crimson sunsets, parting birds, deep, sad hymns of the sea, passionate wind-songs in the pines. Anne roamed through the pineland alleys in the park and, as she said, let that great sweeping wind blow the fogs out of her soul.” ― L.M. MontgomeryAnne of Green Gables

Thank you, friends, for the kind words regarding my mom. I'm slowly making my way back. Love you.

We love you, Lenz.
Dear, dear One.
To have the fog blown out of one's soul. What a desire.
How did you find that great passage amongst so many greats in L.M.Montgomery? We will take it with us as we travel these November days.
Love,
Joan and Rachel

HOW DID I MISS THIS!

Not to split hairs but I'm almost convinced that quote is from Anne of the Island, when she wanders the graveyard across the street from her college quarters. Now I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure. It sounds like older Anne, annnnnnd now I have to go dig up that book.
