Counting while it is yet day

"The man is blessed who every day is permitted to behold anything so pure and serene as the western sky at sunset, while revolutions vex the world."
Henry David Thoreau

And yet let me not forget those who suffer revolutions that vex the world. Peace, protection, and freedom we pray. O God, let me never take for granted that I am permitted for now the privilege of contemplating a sunset while others dream of peace.

Counting blessings

327 - a whiff of spring

328 - freedom to read what others are free to express

329 - beauty found when looking up

330 - a place that for some reason makes me think of heaven

Found you at Ann's and love your counting. The picture of the reading area is a beauty!

I too love the freedom to read. Today this snowy Minnesota day I am reading The Praying Life by Paul Miller ... Highly recommend!

oh, girl, you're speaking my language today, with Papa Henry, no less.

he should be required reading every spring, in my opinion. :)

So good to be reminded that we have the freedom to read free words. Enjoy your daffodils, and your week.

Oh, I love the place that is like heaven! What a beautiful photo.

(And I completely agree, we all must have tea this side of heaven. We'd have so much to talk about!)

Thanks, Vicki, my girl is okay. We're praying for everyone there and hoping there won't be any further quakes.

I know it’s not Ann’s Multitude Monday anymore – it’s Thursday – but there are just a whole lot of gratitude lists to get through!

First – my fave from your list was 330 - a place that for some reason makes me think of heaven ( I can see why – I think it’s the columns and what with a little imagination could be a sea of glass – pretty)

And BTW, it’s only one prayer by one person – but it’s more than there would have been if you hadn’t mentioned it – thank you – I just prayed for those in New Zealand.
Thank you for this – made me smile.

God Bless you and all of yours this day.
