Ah, if only this had been my ambition when I was young. Who knows where it could have led? I coulda been somebody. I coulda been a contender. But better late than never, I always say.

I've never been good at pie. That pie you made was delicious! I have everything for shortbread today except an orange peel and citron, I am not really sure what citron is but I am going to go to the store and look for some. I'm sorry I didn't get your call, I lost my phone and found it at midnight.
