I was really honored to be asked to do a guest post over at Joann's
Ostriches Look Funny (and other Observations). I love that girl. She writes like a very hip Erma Bombeck, honest and witty. Her posts make my husband and I roar with laughter. Hmmm...Erma Bombeck...I'm dating myself. Anyways, I'm over there today.

Well, I posted over there too but thought your blog was so amazing it deserved kudos over here too!
I wrote ridiculously nice things with probably way too many exclamation points over at JoAnn's place. You two. Together.
And where, oh where, in all of tarnation did you find that picture?
Uh oh. I know Erma well, too...
Love the photo. They DO look funny! (How did she stay on that thing?)
I remember reading "If life is a bowl of cherries...". So funny. I've avoided pleated skirts ever since. I refuse to be dated by it. Off to visit Joann and then find a copy of that book again.
What a great ostrich photo! I'll have to go visit this blog you mention. Thanks for the referral.
Nancy, the picture? I googled...yuk yuk.
Tell me what you know about yourself.
Well, it really isn't worth telling, Mrs. Cadbury...but if you let me tell you what I IMAGINE about myself you'd find it a lot more interesting.
Where's THIS from?
lvankuiken, thank you.
Leslie, I was wondering the same thing.
Oh my gracious. I almost fell over laughing. How did you find this picture? I thought I had burned it in 1935.
Wait, I'm dating myself. AHHH!
So...I checked and didn't actually use ANY exclamation points. But I WAS thinking them and feeling them way deep, deep down in my soul.
nancy, your screech was the best thing ever!
funny indeed.
JoAnn, I noticed that you ride side-saddle...how ladylike ;)
snort!
do you like my hat?
I love Erma Bombeck!
And you guys are too much.
JoAnn, fetching!
Yes, Jodi. I refer to all of my friends in blog world as imaginary unless and until I meet them in real life and see for myself that they really do exist. JoAnn calls her blog friends imaginary as well, so if your status if ever going to change, I think the three of us are going to have to meet sometime this side of eternity.
And, or course, you quote Anne Shirley. Anne with an "e."
I'll bet you can spell chrysanthemum as well.
When I find some more time...I'm hooking up over there, cool.
Thank you Jodi for your sweet words, they made my day.
Pretty funny picture!
At first glance this pictures appears to be some sort of mutation... you know half / woman half ostrich.
It was lovely to meet you Jodi.
you girls are so silly :)
and fun.
thanks for the chuckle.
